Hi
I've bought your pack for Unity and try to recreate VFX with UnrealEngine. But I have a problem with shaders -shader code is generated and hard to read. As I understand you use Amplify Shader Editor for creating shaders. But i recevie "Missing shader functions" errors when I try to open you material with Amplify Shader Editor . Could you please help me with it?
Hello, can you double check that “Particle Shaders” folder and all the files inside of it was imported in your project.
Unfortunately I didn’t build these shaders myself. A friend built these shaders for me. I actually know very little about making shaders.
If you’re unable to get it working in amplify, then I’m more than happy to give you a refund since it didn’t serve your needs.
Please let me know how things turn out.

Is it possible for you to ask your friend about this functions? Maybe he can provide them to you?
About refund - I bought this pack few mounths ago and only week ago started to use it trying to recreate effect I need in UE. If your friend can't provide to you missing shader functions and it is ok for you to give me a refund after 3 month it would be great. If not - so anyway it is my fault, I had to check it earlier :)

No sorry not at this time. This asset currently only usable with the Unity particle system.
Can you release discount for this package :<. I saw the wind package has a discount on Unity Asset Store but it seems to be not enough elements for my project:<. Also with other cheap packages, they do not contain Shield On , Off and Charge Elements. Awh :<< I cannot afford for this price :((((

Hmmm i mean... Can you seperate this package :3 ? $25 for only Cartoon Deluxe and $15 for extra Sword VFX !!!
Unfortunately I will not be doing that at this time. I typically don't do any sales outside of launch sales.
But if you think you might be interested in more VFX packs other than the Cartoon Deluxe pack, the Mega Pack is really a great deal right now. There are 3 more packs currently in development for it.
Buying the Mega Pack now insures you get all of my VFX packs I've currently made, and all the new ones that will be made in the future. All at a discount, and with no additional costs with the updates.

Can it be used on other development engines outside Unity
Unfortunately no, not easily.
There are some standard sprite sheets that will work in most other engines basically right out the box.
But a lot of these effects takes advantage of a special shader that fades out a texture based on a greyscale mask.
So unless you recreated a similar shader and particle system, the textures alone might not be enough.
So it is technically possible, but it would take some work to get it functioning.

If you use Unity and think these would be helpful I recommend picking up this pack. I'll be updating it with more VFX packs. And with every new update, the price will increase.
So it's better to buy it now while the price is low and get the rest of the updates for free.
